We woke up to a windy, cold morning atop the Grand Canyon.  It was beautiful, but unexpectedly cold.  We rushed over to the Canyon to take it all in before hitting the road again.  And managed to grab a few beautiful shots…

Amber was more interested in chasing chipmunks haha!

And shortly after leaving the Grand Canyon, you can time travel to Bedrock!  This was a campground that was entirely Flintstone themed just beyond the canyon.

Shortly after the Nevada state line we crossed over the Hoover Dam, no time to stop for pics, but it looked really big haha!

Most of Nevada looked a lot like the photo below, mountains in the background and cactus as far as the eye could see.

And finally… we crossed over the border into our new home state!

Our route even took us through Yosemite… which was, as expected, breathtaking.

And just as we left Yosemite, the route took us through the California mountains towards Lake Tahoe, but not without a beautiful sunset.

Hope you enjoyed our cross country journey.  I’ll be sure to share what we have been up to since relocating asap!
