This post could also be titled: I took some Pictures of my Dog, in Lake Tahoe haha! So when we arrived in California we went straight to a cabin that I reserved using Home Away. It was a great ending to our long drive, we were in serious need of some relaxation… although neither of us can sit still for very long!
I realized now, that the photos of the cabin simply could not do justice. It was the perfect size for 2 people, any more would have definitely been crammed, the temperature dropped to about 30 degrees, but we were glad it was a little colder so we could appreciate the coziness of the cabin.
It doesn’t look like much, and that is because it wasn’t much. It was literally 3 rooms, but it was very clean, quaint and exactly what I had hoped for.
Added bonus, was that we were exactly 1 block from the dog beach, the Thomas F Regan Memorial City Beach. Amber had a blast running on the beach and getting some much needed energy out!
Steve’s perspective versus my perspective!
Attempting a family photo…
Ended the night with some cabernet on the patio, the following morning we packed up our cabin and made our way further into California. I highly recommend this cabin and also Home Away, it was a great way to find a dog friendly spot in Lake Tahoe.
Not photoed — we also spent some time in down town Tahoe, and went to a neat brewery for dinner, Tahoe is a great town that could be fun any season, plenty of winter and summer sports!
