1. Have your cuppa and take 3 mins to think about the day
  2. Avoid Facebook, it is a soul crusher most days
  3. If you have the means, donate to a cause that helps out those suffering in Texas (or elsewhere)

  4. Give yourself a break, don’t be so hard on yourself, you’re trying that can be enough
  5. Read, escape, dream, do all the things you don’t have time for, remember outside is free
  6. During your break drink a bunch of water and think about how great it is for your body
  7. On your drive into work turn off the radio and roll down the window, appreciate the silence, breathe in through your nose and hold for 3 seconds, exhale slowly
  8. Stare long and hard at your children, if you have them, notice their changing features, press pause
  9. Be silly, find lightness in the moment, if you have the opportunity, get in a good belly laugh
  10. Find yourself being content as you close out the day, don’t wish so hard for the future that you wish this time away
